Morning Session | 9.30am – 12.30pm

Create something beautiful for your garden while learning a traditional woodland craft.

Join us for a relaxed, hands-on morning making your very own traditional garden plant support using sustainably sourced Willow.

With guidance from our experienced instructors, you’ll learn how to select, prepare and weave these wonderfully flexible natural materials into a strong and elegant garden structure. You’ll be shown each stage of the process, making this an enjoyable workshop whether you’re completely new to green woodworking or simply keen to learn a traditional craft.

Your finished structure can be used as a sweet pea frame, plant support or garden obelisk, providing a natural climbing frame for sweet peas, beans, clematis and other climbing plants. The rustic beauty of  Willow makes each piece unique and gives your garden a timeless, natural character.

By the end of the morning, you’ll have created your own practical and attractive garden structure to take home and enjoy for years to come — a lovely combination of traditional craftsmanship, natural materials and sustainable gardening.

Course Details:

• Location: our craft studio near Marlborough, Wiltshire
• Duration: 9:30am to 12.30pm
• Course Fee: £55 a small booking fee may be added if booked through Eventbrite
• Refreshments: Throughout the session we'll keep the kettle on and offer a selection of tea, coffee, and biscuits to keep you refreshed.
• Age Requirement: Minimum age 18 (younger students by arrangement)

We are situated near Marlborough in the heart of Wiltshire, Southwest England, with easy access from Bristol, Bath, Salisbury, Southampton, Chippenham, Swindon, and London. The closest railway station is Pewsey, approximately a 10-minute drive from our location.
