Step into the world of ancient craftsmanship with our Viking Neck Knife Forging Workshop, set in our atmospheric Woodland Forge near Warminster.
Spend the day learning traditional blacksmithing techniques as you transform a simple length of steel into your own Viking-style neck knife. Using our hand-cranked vintage charcoal forges, you’ll heat, hammer, and shape your blade just as craftsmen did centuries ago—guided every step of the way by experienced instructors.
Once your blade is forged, you’ll refine your work through careful grinding and sharpening, bringing your knife to a functional, sharp finish. To complete your piece, you’ll craft a custom leather sheath, perfectly fitted to your knife—ready to take home.
Throughout the day, you’ll enjoy a relaxed and welcoming environment with tea and coffee provided, plus a half-hour break to recharge over lunch.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or simply looking to try something hands-on and memorable, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to create something truly personal while connecting with traditional techniques.
