This is a great hand’s on weekend at our woodland site near Marlborough, Wiltshire.
This course is aimed at anyone taking their first steps into the world of Bushcraft or those wishing to brush-up on their Bushcraft Skills and tweak their Bushcraft Knowledge prior to assessment. Whether you’re looking to do a level 2 assessment or the IOL Bushcraft Competency Certificate this is the Course for you.
There will be ample time to practice your Bushcraft Skills with a guiding hand.
Subjects covered during your time spent with us are:
· Debris shelter building
· Purifying water
· Useing natural tinder's
· Lighting a fire without matches
· Fire by friction
· Making cordage from natural plant fibres
· Identifying trees
· Natural navigation
· Knife skills
Food is provided, which will include:
2 x Midday day meals
1 x Evening meal
1 x Continental breakfast
Tea / Coffee and Squash will be provided throughout the weekend
Minimum age is 18, younger students are allowed by prior arrangement, please call us to discuss.
The course runs from 9.30am Saturday to 3.00pm Sunday
We are based in the Southwest of England in easy reach from Bristol, Bath, Salisbury, Southampton, Chippenham, Swindon, and London.
The course fee is £130 per head.
