Family Bushcraft Weekend Camp
There's nothing better than getting the whole family out into the great outdoors for a weekend of adventures.
This is a hands on weekend which will run from 10am Saturday to 3.30pm Sunday in our semi ancient woodland site near Marlborough Wiltshire.
A great weekend for all of the family learning basic Survival and Bushcraft Skills with a guiding hand.
And at the end of the day spending the evening together around the campfire toasting marshmallows and sharing stories about the days adventures.
What will you do:
· Build your own family shelter
· Lighting a fire without matches
· Making cordage from natural plant fibres
· Cooking damper bread
· Make a tension plate
· Source and purifying water
· Natural navigation
· Toast marshmallows
· Play traditional woodland games
· And what ever else we can fit in
Food is provided, which will include:
2 x Midday day meals
1 x Evening meal
1 x Continental breakfast
Tea / Coffee and Squash will be provided throughout the weekend
