During the day you will make your own swallowtail rake to take home with you. The rake is a beautiful tool, which will serve you well in the garden. Whilst making your rake you will learn about the traditional methods used to craft this simple but very effective tool. You will also discover and use a wide range of green woodworking tools.
The material that you use to make your rake is sustainably sourced coppice wood from our own woodland.
This course will run from 9.30am to 4.30pm at our Marlborough site.
What's included in the price?
Use of all tools and materials are provided and no previous experience is necessary,
The kettle will be on throughout the day for you to enjoy a cuppa and biscuits (all individually wrapped).
The course is limited to 4 attendees to comply with COVID19 guidance.
